Mr. Vinod Hejmadi is a Chartered Accountant and a Rank Holder in Final CA with a Graduate Degree in Commerce.
He was inducted in the Board of Air India as Director Finance since November, 2015 and was on Board until April 2022. Mr. Hejmadi is presently the Chief Financial Officer of Air India Ltd.
He has 34 years of experience in various departments of airline industry and has handled important portfolios like Revenue and Expenditure Accounting, Audit, Insurance, Fuel Hedging, Fuel & Oil, Aircraft Leasing, MIS and Budget.
Mr. Hejmadi has also held international positions such as Finance Manager in Switzerland & North Africa based out of Geneva and Chicago.
He was a key member of the team who formulated a Turn Around Plan of Air India in 2012 and was also a key member in the discussions and deliberations on the disinvestment of Air India as part of the Evaluation Sub Committee (ESC) of Government of India. Mr. Hejmadi was also on all the Boards of Subsidiary Companies of Air India and currently continues to be in the Board of Air India Charters Limited (AICL) and Air India SATS(JV).
