Mr. Ong joins AISATS from dnata, where he served as Head of Airside and Operations at Changi Airport, leading ramp and baggage operations, resource planning, and the Operations Control Center for ground handling.
He brings over 20 years of broad cross-industry experience across aviation and logistics. Prior to dnata, he led commercial and operations for logistics and warehousing across Southeast Asia at Singapore Post. Earlier, he worked in airport management at Changi Airport Group, and at SIA Engineering Company, where he held roles in line maintenance operations, line maintenance sales, and Human Resources.
This combination of operational depth and commercial experience—spanning logistics, ground handling, airport management, and aircraft maintenance—makes Mr. Ong a valuable addition to the leadership team. He is also recognized for his data-driven approach to performance and his strong partnerships with airline customers, regulators, and labor unions. He received the Partner of the Labour Movement Award in Singapore in 2026.
